"Don't Hate - Congradulate!"

February 16, 2009

Wow has this week been fun. We had an amazing baptism for Ms. Dorothy. She is amazing. She has been so excited since our second visit. She had to give up smoking and coffee but she did it and has not had any problems with it. Also she had to pray and really think about if Joseph Smith was a prophet. She struggled with that but she prayed and asked God to reveal it to her and she knows that Joseph Smith is a prophet now, there is no doubt about it. She bore her Testimony after her baptism and told the story of how she found us(or better yet how we found her). She has been ready since that day. She has come to church for the last 5 wks and knows many people in the ward. We were able to have a member in the ward send out E-vites to the members of the ward to invite them to the baptism and we received amazing response from that. Ms. Dorothy is amazing and she said that she was going to go home and call all her family and friends. She told us that she was going to tell them all. Don't Hate... Congratulate. It was so funny.

Oh we had a cake at the little reception that was held in her honor. It said "Come Follow Me" with a giant sheep it was so cute.
We also got to attend the temple and have Zone Conference this week. The temple was amazing. The peace that was there and the comfort and peace that it brought was just what I needed. I am so grateful for our mission President and his willingness to let us go to the temple.
We have been really busy here in Clarksville and the work is moving along amazingly.

Transfers are coming up, I find out this Saturday and there is a high chance that I will be transfered. So make sure if you do send any letters, packages, etc. make sure it goes to the Brentwood address. Thanks for all your love and support.
With much love,
Sister Cordon
